3 LOCAL DISHES YOU CAN EASILY COOK AT HOME

1. Saucy Squid

A perfect dish to pair with rice, the Saucy Squid is made for those who love seafood. Rich and succulent, indulge in this delicious local dish of hot stew made of oxtails, green beans, eggplants and peanut sauce. 3. Lechon Kawali

Looks like the author of food blog Kawaling Pinoy, Lalaine, has found an easier way to cook Lechon Kawali. The Slow Cooker Lechon , as its name suggests, needs to be cooked on low heat for about seven to eight hours, and then its meat roasted to get a layer of crispy skin on top of that moist and juicy meat.

With Thermos® Shuttle Chef®, you can combine pork belly, garlic, salt, peppercorns, bay leaves and enough water into the inner pot over medium heat. Bring to boil and continue cook for about 1 hour. Put the inner pot into the outer pot. The heat insulation technology of the Shuttle Chef will cook the meat for hours until it’s tender. Drain pork from liquid, discarding liquid. Wipe the pork to dry. Carefully place meat into oil and fry until meat is golden and skin is crisp and puffed.
