The differences between lime and key lime are that the latter is more aromatic and has more floral juice. Originally grown in Florida Keys, key lime juice is used to preserve pickles and sauces, and most commonly, an important ingredient in Key Lime Pies as well as this amazing dessert. This no-bake recipe prominently features the zest in lime coupled with crispy gingersnap cookies that will satisfy those craving for something sweet and citrusy. It is recommended to refrigerate the cakes for up to one day before consumption.
